The story behind "PRESS 1"
Press 1 comes on the heels of the conclusion of the musical duet After the Tone. With Britt and I mutually parting ways and ending our endeavor of pursuing music as a full-time career together, I had to decide if I would take a hiatus from music or try something else. I decided to begin a new project titled "Rob is fine." with the first album being a transition away from After the Tone. Just as the name "After the Tone" was inspired by an answering machine, so too was "Press 1."

Press 1 is me mulling over my "options" as I move forward from After the Tone. It's an album about love, loss/grieving, moving forward, and regrets in the face of getting older. It is the first step of a new journey that I hope you enjoy.

Rob's Music Bio
A long journey. It's been fine.
I'm Rob. I've been a musician for over 20 years. I currently make what I call "alternative rock for losers," which is an eclectic blend of '00s alt rock and emo, '80s styled synth wave, and a pinch of modern hip-hop and pop. Prior to this project, I was half of the duo After the Tone as well as the masked menace known as We Skeem.
